Together, We Can Make the Internet a Safer Place
A safer internet is everyone's responsibility!

Every day, people of all ages face cyber risks — scams, fraud, cyberbullying, harassment, identity theft, data breaches, misinformation, and privacy violations. Whether you are a student, a business owner, a parent, or a senior citizen, we all have a role to play in making the online world safer for ourselves and for each other.
As Jamaica becomes more connected, the threats we face online are multiplying. No age group is immune. Through our Safer Internet Together (SIT) programme, we're tackling the most pressing cyber risks head-on, equipping every Jamaican with the awareness and tools to stay protected.
In the first year of the SIT programme, Digicel Foundation engaged 150 primary and secondary schools across all 14 parishes of Jamaica, directly impacting 34,030 students with critical digital literacy and online safety education. Beyond the classroom, we delivered safer internet content to 5 community groups, reaching over 100 community members with practical tools and knowledge to navigate online risks. We also partnered with the Broadcasting Commission of Jamaica (BCJ) and the Jamaica Library Service (JLS) to reach 2,000 senior citizens island-wide — ensuring that no generation is left behind in Jamaica's digital future.
