Annual report 2025: 90.9 million us dollars invested in haiti by the Digicel Foundation

The Digicel Foundation has released its annual report for the 2024–2025 fiscal year and invites the public to review it to learn more about its key achievements.
On the occasion of its 18 years of operation in Haiti, the Foundation highlights its accomplishments. Its investments span a wide range of areas, from support to the education sector to the funding of diverse community projects. Through strategic partnerships, the Foundation has also been able to intervene in specialized sectors such as support for people with special needs, higher education, and much more.
The results of fiscal year 2024–2025 build on a long history of initiatives led by Digicel—a company and a team firmly convinced that lasting change depends on pooling resources and collective will. These results include:
A cumulative investment of more than US $90.9 million;
Over 1.3 million people reached nationwide;
The construction of 195 schools, providing improved learning conditions for more than 62,000 students;
Funding for 425 community projects;
Support for 69 social enterprises through the PARCCSEQ program;
Dozens of volunteer activities made possible by the direct involvement of Digicel employees.
Education remains at the heart of the Foundation’s mission, with initiatives at every level: school construction, teacher training, and community mobilization. This year, five new school construction projects were launched, two of which have already been completed. At the same time, sixteen new schools joined the PARCCSEQ program (School Community Capacity Strengthening Project for Quality Education), while thirty-one others graduated from it after being assessed and deemed capable of autonomous and effective management.
The Foundation also emphasizes the impact of its grants through Konbit Pou Chanjman. This year saw the implementation of the 18 winning projects from the 7th edition and funding for 18 additional projects in the 8th edition. Special editions also supported previous winners, including the implementation of the UJPM project and the financing of ADSG’s initiative.
Employee engagement remains a major driver. More than ten volunteer activities were carried out: rehabilitation of public spaces, installation of solar streetlights, distribution of gifts, and blood drives. These actions continue to strengthen the bonds between Digicel employees and their communities.
Finally, the report highlights the strong connection forged with youth through social media. Several initiatives have helped showcase emerging talent: content creation contests, youth influencer programs, and talent competitions held during the holiday season. These activities open new perspectives and create real opportunities for development.
In conclusion, this report reflects the continuity of a commitment which, for the past 18 years, has placed education, inclusion, and community development at the heart of the Digicel Foundation’s priorities. Staying true to its mission, the Foundation will continue to strengthen its actions to contribute meaningfully to a brighter and more sustainable future for Haiti.
