25 organizations were selected for the third phase of the sixth edition of Konbit pou Chanjman.

Port-au-Prince, HAITI – December 16, 2022:
From one edition to the next, the Digicel Foundation continues to record an increasing number of applications for its Konbit Pou Chanjman campaign. For this sixth edition, launched in May 2022, the Foundation was pleased to receive more than 700 community project proposals, compared to 591 the previous year. During the first phase of the campaign, all applications were reviewed, and 66 projects were shortlisted for the field visit phase.
Despite the country’s ongoing challenges, thanks to the remarkable work of the Foundation’s field agents, all selected organizations were successfully visited. Following the analysis of the visit reports—which highlighted both the relevance of the projects and the strong connection between the organizations and their communities—25 organizations were selected to move forward to Phase III. The selected projects focus on agriculture, water access, livestock, fishing, and other key community needs.
During this third phase, representatives will have the opportunity to present and defend their projects before a jury for a chance to receive US$10,000 in funding. They will also benefit from several training sessions on organizational governance.
The Digicel Foundation is proud to continue supporting community-driven projects that create tangible and lasting impacts. According to the Foundation’s Executive Director, Sophia Stransky, the positive outcomes from previous editions serve as strong motivation to continue this initiative, which has already reached thousands of beneficiaries through the implementation of over 91 projects.
In addition, the special grant campaign of this sixth edition is ongoing and follows the same stages as the regular campaign. Ten organizations were selected for field visits, and three of them advanced to the final phase. It is important to note that this special campaign is exclusively open to past winners of Konbit Pou Chanjman, who are either strengthening their existing projects or implementing new ones. The winner will receive US$15,000 in funding.
