Cap-Haïtien, Haiti – Tuesday, December 9, 2025 – The Digicel Foundation hosted, from December 6 to 9 in Cap-Haïtien, the final phase of the 9th edition of Konbit Pou Chanjman, a nationwide initiative that has been supporting community-driven projects across Haiti since 2017.

For this closing stage, one representative from each of the twenty-five finalist organizations traveled to the North to present and defend their projects, while also taking part in training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities. This edition stood out for its strong representation from some of the country’s most remote areas, including Les Irois, Monbin Crochu, and Anse-Rouge. These sessions also provided participants with deeper insight into the Foundation’s work, its support approach, and the services offered by Digicel.

Held in the lead-up to the Christmas season, this edition carried a special significance under the theme “Nwèl Konbit,” reflecting the spirit of solidarity and sharing. The festive and collaborative atmosphere highlighted the power of collective action and the impact of grassroots initiatives in improving living conditions within communities.

At the end of the four-day event, XX organizations were selected as winners. Each will receive a grant of US$12,000 to implement their projects. These funds will support tangible initiatives in areas such as agriculture, water access, and environmental protection, contributing to local economic development by addressing real community needs.

Since its launch, Konbit Pou Chanjman has funded over one hundred projects nationwide. Beyond financial support, the Digicel Foundation provides ongoing guidance to beneficiary organizations throughout the implementation process, helping to maximize impact and strengthen local leadership.

In parallel, the Foundation has renewed its additional funding program for past winners. Organizations that have successfully completed their initial project are eligible for a new grant of US$15,000, either to expand their original initiative or to launch a new one. The winner of this special funding round will be announced on January 27.
