This year the Foundation invested US$3.47M, primarily in its four flagship programs, only wavering when Haiti faced unexpected challenges such as Covid-19 and natural disasters. Our construction program ended the financial year with a total of 188 schools built across Haiti; a number reached following the inauguration of three new projects in the North, West, and Northeast departments. Furthermore, following the 7.2 magnitude earthquake on August 14, our engineers evaluated the 23 schools built by the Digicel Foundation in the affected areas to address any required repairs.
