Koroba District Hospital receives new Mobile Health Clinic

Koroba District Hospital of Hela Province is the proud recipient of a new Mobile Health Clinic (MHC). The new MHC was launched on the 15^th December by Member for Koroba , Hon. Philip Undialu. MP Undialu’s partnership and counter-part funding of K100,000 is another example of Members of Parliament and the Private Sector working together to progress the current government Public-Private-Partnership agenda. The new Mobile Health Clinic – a fully kitted ambulance – will enable Koroba District Hospital staff to reach areas that are so far inaccessibly by less sturdy vehicles to conduct Voluntary Confidential Counselling and Testing for HIV/Aids and Maternal Child Health outreach. Digicel PNG Foundation is proud to partner with the Member of Koroba to provide quality health services to our rural communities of the Hela Province.
