To make our contribution to the community; providing access to education for underprivileged children.
Our mission is to provide a good basis for children to go to secondary school.
History of the School:
Panou school was founded in January 2001. As its name suggests it means our school. The name was chosen so that the community understands that the school belongs to them. They wanted the education of Haitian schoolchildren to be in harmony with the reality of the environment. The school began with just three classes.
About the school:
Panou School is a Community School working with a certificate from the Ministry of Education. There are 196 students and 8 teachers working in the school. The school delivers classes up to grade 9 and teaches maths, French and Creole, the Social Sciences and experimental science.
