WEDNESDAY MAY 09, 2018: Registered community groups can now get assistance with their application forms, to access an EPIC grant from the Digicel Foundation. In an attempt to assist interested groups with the application process, the Foundation will be hosting an ‘EPIC day’ on May 18 from 10am – 3pm, at the Digicel Hospitality Suite in the Queen’s Park Oval.
The Digicel Foundation is calling on all registered community based organisations to apply for a grant to implement an extraordinary community project. The call for applications ends on May 18, 2018 with the EPIC day. Community Based Organisations, Faith Based Organisations and Non-Government Organisations are welcomed to apply.
Extraordinary Projects Impacting Communities (EPIC) is a small grant initiative that encourages community groups to apply for TT$30,000 to refurbish or develop indoor or outdoor community spaces. The projects must be implemented within a 6-8 week period and only registered groups can apply for the grant.
EPIC applicants are also encouraged to collaborate with other public and private sector entities.
EPIC applications can be found on digicelfoundation.org or digicelgroup.com/tt. Applicants can email completed forms to firstname.lastname@example.org or send via postal mail to Digicel Foundation at the ANSA Centre, 11 C Maraval Road, St. Clair.
Since the launch of EPIC in March 2016, Digicel Foundation has invested over TT$1.3 million in 40 community based projects impacting over 20,000 persons in Trinidad and Tobago.
