Digital artist, writer and singer Andrew Fitt is certainly an inspiration because of all that he has achieved. What may be perceived as challenges to others have not hindered Andrew in any way as he continues to pursue his life’s dreams.
The Digicel Foundation supported Andrew’s dreams through the purchase of one of his pieces entitled “For the Record”, which is now proudly displayed at Digicel’s head office. The piece was unveiled at the office last Thursday by Andrew, Garvin Medera, Chairman of the Foundation, Penny Gomez, Foundation CEO and David Fitt, Andrew’s father.
The funds used to purchase the artwork were raised through staff donations from various Christmas raffles held throughout the Digicel organisation.
Born with cerebral palsy, Andrew, a past student of Fatima College, also attended the International Fine Arts College in Miami where he earned a degree in 3D Animation. Since the year 2000, he has had several art shows, both in Trinidad and Tobago and overseas.
