Holy Trinity Cathedral

Built by a Spanish Merchant in 1911, the 96-year-old Holy Trinity Cathedral on North Street in Kingston had gracefully weathered many episodes of Mother Nature’s fury in the island, over the many years of its existence. This national treasure was once again in need of a face-lift and in 2006, the Digicel Foundation donated J$750,000 to paint the exterior of the Cathedral, ensuring the preservation of its aesthetic beauty for more years to come. The Holy Trinity Cathedral continues to play an integral role in Jamaican society, as a beacon of reverence, an architectural gem and a historic monument.
